At Del Mar Heights School, our students utilize technology to become lifelong learners and to improve performance in all areas of the curriculum through integrated project-based learning. Classroom teachers and Mrs. Moran, the technology teacher, collaborate to create technology projects that reflect an understanding of the grade level curriculum, as well as the ability to use technology to research, communicate, and problem solve. Students in Kindergarten through second grade utilize iPads in their classrooms to extend their learning. While all students in grades three through six have one-to-one Chromebooks to support and enhance their learning.
Del Mar Heights School is a state of the art facility with many opportunities for students to use technology through a wireless network. All students must follow District guidelines while using computers. Technology Agreement: Parents are encouraged to monitor student computer use at home.
