  • Ashley Falls Site Teacher of the Year!!

Congratulations to Ms. Danielle Rhoades, our Ashley Falls Site Teacher of the Year! Danielle is an excellent example of what a Del Mar teacher should strive to be. She is constantly looking for ways to grow as an educator and adapt her instruction to meet the individual needs of students in her classroom. Ms. Rhoades is the type of teacher who goes out of her way to make students and families feel connected to her and one another. Students feel safe in her classroom to take risks, ask questions, and take ownership over their learning to make as much progress as possible. Not only does she shine in the classroom, she also dedicates her time to bettering herself outside the classroom through leadership roles throughout the district. Ms. Rhoades is one of our District Math Apprentices and she teaches and mentors teachers and staff on how to teach math instruction through cognitively guided instruction. We are so proud and lucky to have Danielle as part of the Ashley Falls Team!
