In 2006, the Board adopted a Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) for the District. The SWMP identifies the best management practices (BMPs) that are being implemented throughout the District to prevent pollution storm water runoff. Provided in the links below is the Municipal Storm Water Management Plan Annual Progress Report as prepared by the San Diego County Office of Education's Municipal Storm Water Group. It shows how District staff have made substantial progress in implementing the Board's SWMP and are continuing to work to protect California's storm water from polution.
